Who we are

This website is run by GEM Industrial Automation Ltd, Solon 18, 3017 Limassol, Cyprus. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect

Only what you type into our forms: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional) and your message. We also record which page you sent the request from.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

Why we use it

To read your request, reply to you and prepare a quote. If you go on to buy from us, we keep the records we need for that. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell them.

Our legal basis

You ask us to take steps before a possible contract (a quote), and we have a legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.

Who handles it for us

Your message is delivered to our mailbox by Resend, an email delivery service (we use its EU region). The website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which also provides the spam check on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) and the cookieless visit statistics. If you press the button to show the map on our contact page, your browser then connects to OpenStreetMap. These providers act on our instructions and may process data outside the EU under standard contractual safeguards. We do not share your details with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails stay in our mailbox for as long as they are needed to deal with your request and any resulting business, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. Our email provider keeps short delivery logs under its own policy.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or object to its use. Write to us and we will answer promptly. You can also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
